BANDUNG- President Director of PT Len Industri (Persero), Zakky Gamal Yasin and President Director of PT INTI (Persero), Darman Mappangara signed a Cooperation Agreement in Business Execution, Operations and Utilization of Industrial Resource.
The synergy is in line with the plan of the Ministry of BUMN (state-owned enterprises) to merge six state-owned enterprises, namely PT Len Industri (Persero), PT INTI (Persero), PT Pindad (Persero), PT Dahana (Persero), PT Inuki (Persero) and PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero ) in a single holding "National Defence and High Technology (NDHI)".
According to Deputy of Mining, Strategic Industry and Media, Dawn Harry Sampurno, the synergy of Len-Inti plan is considered very strategic to improve the 'performance' of the company considering that the two state-owned companies have intersecting lines of business and products. The program is targeted to complete in the second half of this year in order to give birth to a more efficient industry.
"With the signing of the cooperation agreement, we expect that all Len-INTI competencies can be maximized," said Zakky followed by the approval from the Director of INTI, Darman Mappangara. jo
