BANDUNG-Syariah Mandiri Bank (BSM) has signed MoU Padjadjaran University (Unpad) related with banking service products syariah based including financing, funding, and cash management system.
MoU is signed by Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) of BSM, NIken Andonowarih and Rectorate of Padjadjaran University, Tri Hanggono Achmad, that is seen by the Main Director of BSM, Toni EB Subari.
Niken said that besides the cooperation of banking services, MoU are also about educational synergy, Research and Community Services. It is pararell with the company focus in funding consumer, an institution is one of basic segments of BSM.
"Basically, a syariah bank and a public university have same mission which is improving of groups' prosperity. Bank is in economics side, while university is from education," Niken said.
As a commitment of BSM, BSM provided supporting facilities of education (such as Mini Bank application and Bank Mini Galery), training, internship, and students CSR.
BSM is the biggest syariah bank with asser per March 2017 reached IDR 80,01 trillion. Now, BSM has 765 brach offices in Indonesia that are divided in VII Regional Offive (RO) including RO IV Java I.
In this year, BSM is introducing BSM Program of "Mengalirkan Berkah). BSM invites all of stakeholders including customers to create additional value in business so that it will give bigger benefits for citizens who need it.
"Hopefully, BSM and Unpad relation will be more intense, and the synergy will bring some fortune in developing syariah economy in Indonesia," Niken concluded.
