BANDUNG-West Java Provincial Government (Pemprov) appealed to pay more attention to facilities of educators who are in remote areas because there are still many demands to them while minimal welfare facilities.
West Java Vice Governor Deddy Mizwar (Demiz) said the Provincial Government (Pemprov) of West Java will also encourage better facilities by providing 20 percent of the budget from the central and regional.
"The average salary below Rp 1 million, this is a great dedication while the demanded of them very much," he told reporters in Bandung, Monday (08/05/2017)
According to him, the salary of teachers should be addressed gradually. Not only high school, but especially Madrasah.
"So there should be special attention there for them in the villages where access is still very difficult and we will discuss how the teachers are located in remote areas," he said.
Demiz said that during this high school and vocational school are always in the subdistrict, the condition must be addressed for the sake of educational progress in the area of West Java.
"Including high school and vocational school, this is always in the sub-district, and in the future it should be addressed not to lose the pattern because there is no access to the road and so they actually want the school," he said.
Regarding the distribution of education in West Java, Demiz said it has developed a one-stop school to facilitate people who are far from school access.
"Only the educators who are in this one roof school, so it should be given a bigger incentive for such a remote area. Despite the school is built but the students are far away, there is no access to it," he said.
Demiz added that he side will build 4,000 new classrooms (RKB) in West Java. But sometimes unused all because no one filed.
"Infrastructure is important, but it is important to pay attention to the education personnel, it is the lack of teachers in West Java, there are regional officials who are not just fired people not improved people, it is strange," he concluded. (MAT)
