    Hundreds of Students Follow Eid al-Adha Prayers


    BANDUNG-Welcoming Idul Adha Day which is planned to take place on 1 September 2017 about 320 students including educators from Darul Hikam Junior High School follow the simulation activities Eid al-Adha prayer.

    Islamic Religious Education Teachers (PAI) as well as Chairman of the Simulation Team and Workshop of Eid ul-Adha SMA Darul Hikam, Agus Rohman explained the purpose of the simulation is to deepen religious knowledge, especially the implementation of Eid al-Adha prayer for the students. The reason, sunnah prayer is only done once a year so there is a big possibility of forgetting the prayer material in accordance with the guidance of the Prophet SAW.

    "In preparation of students are equipped with procedures of Eid al-Adha prayers are good and correct according to the guidance of Rasulullah SAW," he told reporters in Bandung, Tuesday (29/08/2017).

    Agus revealed that besides being given the practice material of Eid al-Adha prayer, the students were also provided with Eid al-Adha's priesthood materials, which included the host (MC), the organizer of the sacrifice, including the imam and the preacher of Eid al-Adha prayer.

    This is part of character education by giving the widest opportunity to learners.

    "The giver of material in Eid al-Adha prayers also comes from students so that greater participation of students," said Agus.

    Darul Hikam High School also gave Eid al-Adha workshop for junior high school, high school and representatives of OSIS and Rohis Bandung City to participate together follow the procedure of slaughtering sacrificial animal good and true according to the guidance of Rasulullah SAW by presenting resource person from Faculty of Animal Husbandry Universitas Padjadjaran .

    "The material, such as the treatment of sacrificial animals, the requirements of sacrificial animals to be slaughtered, the management of the distribution of sacrificial animal products, including the packaging and distribution of sacrificial animal meat, aimed to provide understanding for the students," he explained.

    He hopes the students know the proper and righteous sacrifices such as the example of the family of Prophet Ibrahim AS so that at some point if they are able to sacrifice can do well.

    Students are also trained to perform sacrificial infaq of each class. Also leave sacrificial animals to the school and they themselves will arrange them.

    "This activity is also expected to grow the soul of sacrifice among the students so as to realize a devoted person to Allah SWT," he concluded. (MAT)
