JAKARTA - PT Bio Farma (Persero) was awarded TOP IT Implementation on Pharmacy Sector from ITech Magazine, in the Top IT & Telco 2017, the event was also supported by the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo). The award is intended to encourage business, government institutions and SOEs and other agencies to be more sensitive to addressing IT & Telco development trends, by constantly updating and developing IT & Telco innovations and solutions.
Based on the release of Bio Farma PR, award is received by Pymt Head of Information Technology Division Bio Farma, Andi Rachmatmulya, and accompanied by Head of System Development Section, Rachmat Hariyanto. Previously, Bio Farma had the opportunity to give a presentation on the application of Information and Technology in Pharmaceutical Manufacturer industry presented by Bio Farma Infrastructure Division Head Amin B Kanda.
According to Bambang Heriyanto, Corporate Secretary of Bio Farma, "as a Pharmaceutical Manufacturer company, must implement an integrated system, established by the World Health Organization (WHO)," Implementation of Information Technology Governance in Bio Farma must comply with WHO stipulation of cGMP (current Good manufacturing Practices) and GAMP (Good Automated manufacturing Practices).
"All computer systems, both software and hardware, before being implemented must be validated to meet the world's health standards", Bambang said.
In addition to cGMP and GAMP, we also apply Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for the management of integrated business processes such as e-BR (electronic Batch Record) for production record automation, LIMS (Laboratory Information Managements System) for management of quality control processes and eQMS (electronic Quality Managements System) for quality assurance management.
Other innovations Bio Farma also supports the Green Computing movement and help reduce global warming, through the development of systems that realize paper reduction reductions, as well as reducing the use of physical servers replaced by virtualization technology. (Even)
