BANDUNG - Stipulation of the Minister of Transportation Regulation (PM) 108 stipulated on October 24, 2017 and entered into force on 1 November 2017 expected online and regular taxis can side by side so as not to cause conflicts.
Transportation Ministry Director General of Land Transportation, Cucu Mulyana appreciates West Java Provincial Government (Pemprov) which sent PM 108.
"We have held socialization with the issuance of PM 108 which has been invited on October 24, and effected on 1 novemver 2017," he told reporters on Friday (3/11) in Bandung
Transportation Ministry also appreciates the transportation business actors with mutual respect and not cause selfishness unilaterally.
"I hear the appreciation of the participants who foster tolerance, selfishness on the part, because we want everything either regular taxis or public transportation can side by side," said Cucu.
Cucu hopes that by the end of 2017 every region will have budget advocacy for the PM 108 socialization. In addition, synergy is required of all parties in setting the rules
"So in this case the central government, the region, and the transport company all involved need to make adjustments with a maximum of three months," he concluded (MAT)
