BANDUNG-Under the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), predicted SOEs will contribute significantly, in the tax revenue in 2017 that is almost 20% of the total target Rp1.498, 971 Trillion.
This of course gives an illustration that the SOEs and BUMN subsidiaries have a strategic position in driving the wheels of the Indonesian economy.
To that end, BUMN Tax Forum will hold a national seminar and tax training for BUMN taxation personnel, on 28 - December 29, 2017 in Yogyakarta.
With the theme of the Role of SOEs in Supporting Tax Reforms to Increase Tax Ratio, this event will be attended by about 200 participants from more than 80 state-owned enterprises and 30 subsidiaries of State-Owned Enterprises as a forum for gathering and exchanging information about Taxation of BUMNs that are incorporated in BUMN Tax Forum.
According to Muhammad Yushar, Chairman of the Committee as well as Head of Tax Bio Farma, this event aims to raise awareness of the importance of taxation for SOEs to contribute to state revenue revenue.
"The essence of this event is to provide an adequate understanding and provide input to all participants on how to properly implement tax compliance to minimize tax risk and improve financial performance from the efficiency of the tax burden," Yushar said Tuesday afternoon (19/12) in Bandung.
Yushar added in addition to the SOE Tax Forum seminar has also initiated the socialization of government programs such as Income Tax Update Maximizing Tax Compliance To Lower Tax Risk and Tax Management.
"Also related to the Right Tax Management Strategy to Lower Tax Risk and Tax Expense Efficiency," he said.
