BANDUNG-West Java Police Chief Inspector General of Police Budi Maryoto said, the ranks of West Java Police together with Military Command III / Siliwangi are ready to secure and oversee the event of democracy party in West Java 2018.
According to Chief of Police, security is done in all areas of West Java without exception, to the polling station (TPS). Two thirds of the strength or about 16,500 personnel in the ranks of West Java Police will be deployed assisted by 3,000 personnel from Military Command III / Siliwangi and other relevant agencies.
"We do joint patrols, Military Command and Regional Police in all districts / cities, in villages. This is to ensure that Military Command III and West Java Police are ready to carry out security election," said Agung told reporters at West Java Police Headquarters on Monday (25/06/2018 ).
On that occasion, West Java Police Chief reiterated the neutrality of the Police and the TNI in the Simultaneous Election of West Java. It said it would crack down on members who proved to be not neutral in the elections.
"Allhamdullilah until now in the law territory of West Java Police, Military Command III / Siliwangi, not reports from the community, NGOs, Supervisory Election Agency whose members are not neutral," he said.
Meanwhile, Commander III / Siliwangi, Maj. Gen. Harto Karyawan also affirmed the issue of the neutrality of its members in the West Java elections 2018.
"The problem of neutrality is final, in case of violation, it will not hesitate to give a firm action in accordance with the rules and procedures that apply," he concluded. Jo
