    West Java experienced inflation of 0.10 percent in March 2019

    BANDUNG - West Java's Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) said that in March 2019 the West Java Joint CPI covering 7 cities namely Bogor City, Sukabumi City, Bandung City, Cirebon City, Bekasi City, Depok City and Tasikmalaya City experienced an increase in the index. CPI from 133.82 in February 2019 to 133.96 in March 2019; thus inflation was 0.10 percent.

    BANDUNG - Movement of song writing contest or kawih asuh barudak (children's song) based on West Java local wisdom was officially announced. Declaration was made by the Secretary of West Java Iwa Karniwa at Gedung Sate, Saturday (03/30/2019). Pancanangan was witnessed by hundreds of school students in Bandung, Sundanese Daya Student alumni (Damas), Siliwangi Youth Force and Pasundan Association.

    BJB Bank's profit in 2018 reached 1.55 Trillion

    JAKARTA - In the midst of economic uncertainty and challenges in 2018 such as the rising interest rate, bank bjb was able to record a number of positive growth in 2018. This positive record can be seen from the achievement of net income of Rp1.55 trillion or growing 28.1% year on year (yoy) or above the growth of the banking industry net profit as of December 2018 which was 10.36% yoy. Total assets were recorded to amount to Rp120.1 trillion, which was originally Rp114.9 trillion (grew 4.5% y-o-y).
