BANDUNG- Ministry of Trade of Indonesia Enggartiasto Lukita asses that the rising price of several commodities in various area is still in normal state
This is said by Ministry of Trade when observed two traditional market in Bandung namely Cihapit and Sarijadi market.
According to him, the rising price is caused by some stall or shop in the market up to D-4 Lebaran have not sell their goods. So, there is indication from traders to rise the price.
"There is a little price increases because only a few shop open in the market. This price increases is still considered normal compared to last year," he said to reporters in Bandung, Wenesday (28/6/2017)
"I accompanied by Director General and wife think that it is a normal conditon from D+1 until D+3 for a high price increases because many shops have not open yet," he added.
Ministry of Trade appreciate traders that during Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr this year did not rise the price arbitrarily eventhough there is only a few shop open.
"This is an awareness that just felt by wholesalers and small trader in the market," he said.
In addition, the stable price in the market is te result of hard work from the food task force and local Department of commerce which helps the process of price control during Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr.
"Alhamdulillah all prices can be controlled. This condition is the result of hardwork from food task force, Department of Commerce which help the process of price control during Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr," he said.
In case of the price increases of chicken meat and chicken eggs. Enggar emphasize that the price increases occour in the dealer by 5% although the supply is enough to meet the demand.
"The price increases occoured in the dealer by Rp. 3,000 per day with alot of supply. Therefore the price increases is not too high just 5 %. The point is the price increases of chicken meat and chicken eggs is still in normal rate," he said.
As know before, Ministry of Trade arrived in Bandung from Jakarta by Argo Parahyangan train. He taking time to visit Bandung Station.
Enggar revealed his reason to take the train because he did not want to get stuck in traffic jam.
"Train nowdays has a better service, more comfertable and cleaner. I really enjoy the trip from JAkarta to Bandung. I prefer take the train because it is free from traffic jam," he concluded.
