BANDUNG-Governor of West Java, Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) asked police officers to investigate thoroughly the crime that happened to IT experts of Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Hermansyah.
According to him, this incident is a form of crime that is not right to any rules. Especially this form of violence uses a sharp weapon that endangers the life and safety of a person.
"This crime is criminal, especially violence using sharp weapons that endanger the lives and safety of a person," he told reporters at the Gasibu Bandung, Monday (10/07/2017).
On this occasion, Aher entrusted the police with complete handling to investigate the case thoroughly.
"We certainly entrust to the police to investigate this case to completion," he said.
Aher also asked the police to provide guarantees to improve the protection of the people.
"Police must also provide guarantees to citizens for their safety and security," he said.
As known before ITB Telematics Expert, Hermansyah became the victim of beatings and torture at KM 6 Jagorawi Toll (between TMII - Tol JORR) of East Jakarta.
His car was chase each other after brushing with other cars. Then he was asked to come out by the perpetrator and immediately attacked by five people. (MAT)
