BANDUNG - Although the construction of the West Java International Airport (BIJB) has been taken over by the central government, PT. BIJB who previously as executive development of BIJB will remain proposed managing the airport services.
West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan said PT. BIJB will have a share of 20% in this airport management. "PT BIJB still be proposed in the service management along with other companies like Angkasa Pura 2. BIJB will be participated in the management of Aero City (integrated area around the airport),” Ahmad Heryawan said.
According to governor, the airport management do not need to change the regulations concerning the establishment of PT. BIJB, because previously PT. BIJB established to build and manage it.
"I think do not need to change the status, just remove the authority in the construction,” he said.
It was reported earlier that the construction of BIJB finally has been taken over by the central government with a total fund prepared of Rp 2.1 trillion.
