BANDUNG - An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 SR was again felt in Lebak, Banten Province, on this day, Friday (26/01) at around 11:48 pm.
Head of Information and Public Relations Data Center of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB), Sutopo Purwo Nugroho said the weak earthquake was sourced at Latitude: 7.23 LS, Longitude: 105.99 BT, Location: (79 km southwest LEBAK-BANTEN with depth reach 11 KM.
"Unlike the previous one, this time the 3-second earthquake is felt quite weak," Sutopo said through a release received www.jabarprov.go.id, Friday (26/01).
According to Sutopo, in addition to felt in Lebak, the earthquake was also felt weak in the Jakarta area for 1 second and did not cause public panic, as in the previous earthquake.
"Based on information from BMKG, this earthquake is also not a potential tsunami," he said. (Parno)
