BANDUNG - Regional National Craft Council (Dekranasda) of West Java Province in collaboration with the Office of Industry and Trade of West Java Province held the West Java Ngagaya event 201 "Featured Products of Textile and Textile Products in West Java" held at the Trans Studio Plaza Mall Bandung, Friday ( 11/30/18).
This activity is a momentum for Dekranasda West Java to participate actively in developing the handicraft industry, especially batik, embroidery and woven fabrics and accessories in the West Java region.
Chairperson of West Java Province Dekranasda Atalia Praratya Kamil said the active role of West Java activists and craftsmen in developing creativity and innovation would certainly produce products that are competitively sustainable.
"The textile industry and textile products in West Java can be encouraged to develop and become one of the economic supporters if accompanied by perseverance and perseverance, creativity and ideas to be able to produce textile products that are highly competitive and of international quality," said Atalia.
Not forgetting Atalia gave her appreciation and expressed her hope for the implementation of the Ngagaya West Java Program the following year.

This is supported by the rapid development of the leading creative industries.
Present to represent the Governor of West Java, Expert Staff for Economics and Development Doddy Firman Nugraha said that the potential of the National Textile and Textile Products (TPT) industry is estimated at 50% in the West Java Province, covering the yarn industry to apparel.
The export potential of the National TPT (based on sources from BKPM, BPS, the Indonesian Textile Association, and the Indonesian Ministry of Industry) is 12,536 million US Dollars in 2017, while in 2018 to June it is worth 6,543 million US Dollars. So it is estimated that at the end of this year the value will rise not too high, but for the local market it is still very wide open.
