BANDUNG - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil received an honorary visit from the Indian Ambassador to Indonesia Mr. Prakash Gupta at Gedung Sate, Monday (02/18/19). In a meeting of about one hour, it was revealed that the Indian Ambassador requested the Governor to hold an event to celebrate 70 years of Indian-Indonesian Diplomatic relations located in West Java.
"I agree, but maybe the program after the presidential election and coincidence, the elections in India were the same in April," Ridwan Kamil said.
In addition, during the 70th anniversary of relations between the two countries, the Indian Ambassador also asked Ridwan Kamil to write an article to be published in India.
"Second, asking me to write an article that will be published in India about the expectations of India-Indonesia relations from the Governor's perspective," he said.
Finally, Ridwan Kamil was asked to visit India in June to attend an agricultural technology exhibition. It is also possible that during the visit smart city cooperation will be held.
"The three gave me an invitation from June to October 2019 to visit India related to agricultural technology because it is the most sophisticated in the world in India and visiting 40 smart cities in India which indicate they are carrying out an extraordinary revolution in technology and civilization. I will fulfill everything later when I will let you know, "he explained.
At the end of the meeting, Governor Ridwan Kamil gave a typical West Java souvenir in the form of Kujang and Jabar coffee to Prakash.
