PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - The Bekasi Regency DPRD has submitted a recommendation for the appointment of Prospective Government Employees with Work Agreements (Prospective PPPK) Phase 1 to continue according to schedule to the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Kemenpan-RB) and the State Civil Service Agency (BKN).
The recommendation was agreed upon in a Joint Working Meeting of Commissions I–IV of the Bekasi Regency DPRD together with related regional apparatuses, including the Human Resources Development and Personnel Agency (BKPSDM), Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD), Health Service, Education Service, and General Section of the Regional Secretariat.
The meeting to discuss the certainty of the inauguration of PPPK Candidates for Teachers, Health, and Technical Personnel took place in the Commission I Hall, Bekasi Regency DPRD Building, Thursday (13/3/2025).
Chairman of Commission I of the Bekasi Regency DPRD, Ridwan Arifin, emphasized that the DPRD and regional apparatus are committed to fighting for the fate of 9,051 PPPK Phase 1 Candidates so that they will immediately receive certainty of inauguration.
The two main points of concern in the discussion were the clarity of the payroll budget and the certainty of their employment status.
"This meeting ensures that the budget is available and the employee status will be fought for. In fact, the Employee Identification Number (NIP) already exists," he said.
He also said that several regions in West Java have made efforts so that the inauguration of PPPK Candidates is not delayed and continues to follow the original schedule. The Bekasi Regency DPRD together with the local government will take similar steps to ensure that the inauguration remains according to plan.
"We are confident enough to carry out this inauguration. However, there is still the authority of BKN that must be considered as a basis for personnel," he said.
The Bekasi Regency DPRD's recommendation has been stated in a letter numbered 100.1.4.4/618-DPRD/2025, which will be sent to the Bekasi Regent to be forwarded to the BKN and Kemenpan-RB.
The letter contains two main points, namely that the Non-ASN salary budget entered into the BKN database has been allocated in the 2025 APBD, and with the readiness of the budget, the appointment of PPPK Phase 1 Candidates who have passed the 2024 selection within the Bekasi Regency Government (Pemdakab) is expected to continue according to schedule without changes.
The Bekasi Regency DPRD hopes that this recommendation can be a basis for the central government in making decisions that support the certainty of the status and welfare of Phase 1 PPPK Candidates.
With the budget readiness that has been allocated in the 2025 APBD, the DPRD emphasized that there were no financial constraints that would hinder the inauguration.
This step is also in line with the efforts of several other regions in West Java which have proposed that the appointment of PPPK Candidates continue to follow the initial schedule.
The Bekasi Regency DPRD together with the local government is committed to continuing to oversee this process so that PPPK Candidates who have passed the selection immediately receive legal and administrative certainty in carrying out their duties as part of the government apparatus.
