PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BANDUNG - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin attended the Bandung Regency DPRD Plenary Meeting to commemorate the Bandung Regency Anniversary in the Bandung Regency DPRD Plenary Meeting Room, Soreang, Saturday (20/4/2024).

This year's 383rd Anniversary of Bandung Regency carries the theme "With the Spirit of Bedas 2024, We Improve the Quality of Human Resources for Sustainable Economic Development".

In his speech, Bey said, facing the technological era, the main challenge that must be faced is increasing Human Resources (HR).

"In the midst of this progress, improving the quality of human resources is the main key in encouraging sustainable economic development," he said.

Bey added that quality human resources can create inclusive and sustainable economic growth to benefit society.

"Quality and competitive human resources not only have high technical skills, but also creativity and strong innovation abilities," he said.

"We recognize that Bandung Regency's creativity and innovation is one of the flagships, such as fashion, culinary and crafts," added Bey.

He also said he was strongly committed to supporting the progress of Bandung Regency through various development programs.

"Like infrastructure, to this day we continue to push for the reactivation of the Bandung-Ciwidey train and in the education sector we will coordinate with the Regent regarding high school development, health and the economy," said Bey.

"We believe that Bandung Regency will become more advanced and developed," he said.

With strong and harmonious synergy, according to Bey, Bandung Regency can be created with a society that has quality and prosperous human resources.

"We are using the momentum of this anniversary to strengthen our determination and commitment in creating a Bandung Regency community that has quality human resources, inclusive and sustainable economic development for the welfare of the entire community," he concluded.
