PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - In commemoration of Kartini Day 2024, the Bogor District Government is providing simultaneous Family Planning (KB) services in 40 sub-districts throughout Bogor Regency which will take place from 18-26 April 2024.

This was conveyed by the Bogor Regency Regional Secretary (Sekda), Burhanudin when leading the 2024 Kartini Day commemoration ceremony at the Bogor Regency level, which took place at the Cibinong Regional Secretariat field, Monday (22/4/2024).

The 2024 Kartini Day commemoration ceremony will also be held simultaneously in all Regional Apparatus (PD) at the Service and Subdistrict levels throughout Bogor Regency.

"Through this momentum, I invite community members to participate in supporting and making family planning service activities a success in commemoration of Kartini Day 2024," he said.

In an effort to continue Raden Ajeng Kartini's struggle, the Bogor District Government initiated various programs that empower and protect gender equality.

"I also invite all women in Bogor Regency to continue learning, being creative, working and increasing their capacity and exploring themselves more widely in the current digital era. "Also participate in politics and development," said Burhanudin.

One of the strategies to increase women's empowerment is carried out through programs to increase the capacity, competence and welfare of women, family planning, and reduce maternal mortality.
