PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - A total of 14 violators of Bandung City Regional Regulations underwent a Minor Criminal Offense (Tipiring) Trial at the Class 1A Special District Court of Bandung City, Jalan LLRE Martadinata (11/22/2024).

The violators were tried after being caught by the Bandung City Civil Service Police Unit for allegedly violating a number of regulations.

The Tipiring Trial covers two types of violations:

1. Trading in Prohibited Places
The violations were committed in several locations, such as Jalan Otto Iskandardinata, Taman Kaca, Jalan AH Nasution, Jalan Diponegoro, and Jalan Soekarno-Hatta. Ten defendants were proven to have violated Article 55 in conjunction with Article 21 paragraph (1) letter f of Regional Regulation No. 9 of 2019.

2. Throwing rubbish carelessly
This violation occurred on Jalan Kiara Condong and Jalan Rereongan Sarupi, Ciumbuleuit. Four defendants were proven to have violated Article 55 in conjunction with Article 19 paragraph (1) letter e of Regional Regulation No. 9 of 2019.

A total of 14 defendants underwent a judicial trial process with sanctions in the form of fines and subsidiary imprisonment. This law enforcement is expected to provide a deterrent effect to violators and maintain public order in the city of Bandung.

This activity involved a number of personnel from various parties, including: Bandung City Satpol PP, including PPNS and related officials, three personnel from the Bandung District Court, and one executor from the Bandung City District Attorney's Office.

The Tipiring trial took place in an orderly manner until it finished at 11.00 WIB, with complete documentation as a form of accountability.
