PORTALJABAR, CIMAHI CITY - Regional Secretary of West Java Province Herman Suryatman attended the Coordination Meeting on Poverty Data Management in West Java Province at the Sawala Hall of the West Java Social Service, Cimahi City, Monday (10/28/2024).

In the coordination meeting themed "Unraveling the PBI-JKN Membership Queue in West Java Province: Challenges and Solutions Towards Social Justice," Herman emphasized that his party is committed to resolving the queue for National Health Insurance Contribution Assistance Recipients (PBI-JKN).

Therefore, consolidation was carried out with various parties, starting from the social services and health services at both the provincial and district and city levels as well as with the Ministry of Social Affairs in order to update data so that the people who receive benefits are truly on target.

"We have just consolidated with the Social Service and Health Service from 27 districts/cities, as well as with the Ministry of Social Affairs to complete the PBI-JKN queue. There are approximately 2.3 million people queuing to enter PBI," said Herman Suryatman.

"Of course it is not easy, but today we are consolidating and friends in 27 districts/cities will conduct checks, verification, and validation to ensure how many of the approximately 2.3 million are actually entitled," he said.

According to him, PBI-JKN is one way to reduce the burden on poor people, therefore the West Java Provincial Government is giving special attention.

"An effort to ensure that poor people who are included in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS), who meet the indicators, receive their rights," said Herman.

The Head of the Coordinator for Recipients of Health Insurance Contribution Assistance (PBIJK) for the Ministry of Social Affairs' Data and Information Center (Pusdatin), Septian, said that it was necessary to resolve inclusion errors and exclusion errors at the district/city government level.

Inclusion error is an error in the data, where a person who should not be recorded is included as a beneficiary.

Meanwhile, an exclusion error is an error in the data, where a person who should be recorded is not recorded as a beneficiary.

"The inclusion error needs to be resolved in the district/city government so that the exclusion error data can enter the DTKS and be right on target, then they can obtain health services, especially in the West Java Province," said Septian.
