PORTALJABAR, BOGOR CITY - Deputy Mayor of Bogor, Jenal Mutaqin, accompanied the Minister of Manpower (Menaker), Yassierli in releasing more than 200 interns to Japan. These participants are the result of joint training by Jiritsu Nusantara, Wednesday (12/3/2025) afternoon.

The release was carried out at the Jiritsu Nusantara Education and Training Center (Pusdiklat) located on Jalan Sumeru, Menteng Village, West Bogor District.

Before leaving for Japan to participate in the internship program, Minister of Manpower Yassierli conveyed several important messages, especially for the participants to maintain the good name of the Indonesian nation.

"When we are abroad, people will automatically ask where we come from. If the impression is bad, then it is not only the individual who is considered bad, but the entire nation. However, if we are known as
"A good, disciplined, persistent and hard-working person, then that good image will stick to our nation," said the Minister of Manpower.

In addition, the Minister of Manpower also reminded the participants to take advantage of this internship opportunity for the next three years by learning as much as possible.

"There are many things that can be learned outside of academics itself, although time will be tight because of work. Use the internet well there," said Yassierli.

The Minister of Manpower also stated that this internship program is a means to expand networks and relationships, both with fellow interns, co-workers, and the local community.

Another message conveyed by the Minister of Manpower was the importance of maintaining good morals as a provision for success in a foreign country.

"There is no reason to forget about morals towards the Almighty and parents, just because of being busy with an internship. That is the main thing," he stressed.

Likewise, Deputy Mayor of Bogor, Jenal Mutaqin, also reminded that this internship opportunity brings a good name to Indonesia. Therefore, he advised the participants to uphold the values of the Indonesian nation.

"Not many people have this opportunity, so make the most of it. This is a golden opportunity," he said.

In addition, Jenal Mutaqin also emphasized that in the Asta Cita of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, one of the main focuses is increasing employment opportunities and the quality of human resources.

"Hopefully with the existence of the Overseas Internship Organizers Association (AP2LN) the government can continue to collaborate with the Bogor City Government," he concluded. (Bogor City Communication and Information Service/Fauziah)
