PORTALJABAR, CIAMIS REGENCY - The Ciamis Regency Government released 444 Hajj pilgrims from Group 15 JKT 2/5/2026 at the KH Irfan Hielmy Islamic Center Building to ensure the readiness for safe, healthy, and orderly worship.

Ciamis Regent Herdiat Sunarya said that this year's departure was an important moment because it was the first time that West Java Kertajati International Airport was used as an embarkation point.

"This is a special moment for Ciamis Regency. Besides being the first group, it's also the first time departure has been made through Kertajati Airport, unlike previous years," said Herdiat.

This change in embarkation provides easier travel access for pilgrims from Ciamis.

The Regent of Ciamis reminded people of the importance of maintaining their health so that all series of worship can be carried out smoothly.

"The Hajj pilgrimage requires physical and mental strength. Therefore, parents must maintain their health and regulate their diet and fluid intake to stay in top condition," said Herdiat.

Group unity is key to maintaining security while in the Holy Land.

"Don't get separated from the group. Make it a habit to report to the officers so that all congregants can perform their worship safely and comfortably," said Herdiat.

The Head of the Ciamis Regency Hajj Organizing Committee, Saeful Ujun, explained that Group 15 consists of 439 pilgrims and 5 officers with an age range of 17 to 81 years.

Departure is scheduled for 3/5/2026 at 11.15 WIB via Kertajati Airport and return on 12/6/2026 at 06.20 WIB.

This mentoring program provides direct benefits to the community by improving the safety, comfort, and readiness of the congregation during worship.

"Thank you to all parties who have contributed, so that the entire preparation process up to departure can run smoothly," said Saeful.

The Ciamis Regency Government ensures that Hajj services continue to be improved so that all pilgrims can perform their pilgrimage optimally and return in good health.
