JAKARTA -- Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin attended the inauguration of 10 Public Service Malls (MPP) from a number of districts and cities spread across nine provinces throughout Indonesia at the Bidakara Hotel, South Jakarta, Tuesday (31/10/2023).
One of the areas in West Java, namely Karawang Regency, received appreciation from the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform, Abdullah Azwar Anas.
"All Public Service Malls in Indonesia are only open on weekdays, only in Karawang Regency are they still open on weekends because they are located in malls," said Azwar Anas.
In this event, which was attended by acting regional heads throughout Indonesia, Anas revealed that the Public Service Mall was built as a commitment from the government to accelerate digital transformation so as to provide maximum service to the community.
"I think this inauguration is symbolic because its spirit is part of integrating services. This is proof of President Joko Widodo's direction for bureaucracy to immediately have an impact. The MPP ecosystem is targeted throughout Indonesia," he added.
To the regional heads who were present, Anas invited them to provide services to the community to the end. The matter of making SKCK/KTP must be done quickly.
Therefore, with the presence of MPP in districts and cities, Minister Azwar Anas hopes that services to the community can be well facilitated through four MPP service ecosystems, namely direct service, mobile service, self service and electronic service.
In this way, residents can process their SKCK, KTP and other documents more easily and quickly.
