PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Chair of the Bandung City Village Family Empowerment and Welfare Mobilization Team (TP PKK), Linda Nurani Hapsah, said that the City of Bandung is ready to welcome the 2024 Child Friendly Regency/City event.

He is optimistic that the city of Bandung can achieve the title of Child Friendly City this year.

When attending the Child Friendly City Kick Off at the Sekoper Cinta Office, Linda Nurani Hapsah expressed her appreciation for the team's collaboration in winning the award (23/2/2024).

"We have received many awards, and we believe this is an extraordinary team collaboration," he said.

Linda also commented on a number of achievements obtained by a number of agencies in the city of Bandung. Among others:

He also hopes that the city of Bandung can grow into a comfortable place for children's development.

According to Linda, if children's rights and protection are fulfilled, the city of Bandung will contribute great people who will later become leaders in the Golden Indonesia era of 2045.

"Hopefully the children of Bandung City will get their right to create the best generation in the era of Golden Indonesia 2045," he said.

Meanwhile, Head of the Bandung City Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DP3A) Service, Uum Sumirah, is optimistic that the City of Bandung can accelerate the results of the 2024 Child Friendly City evaluation.

Uum said that the quality and achievements that have been achieved by a number of agencies have made Bandung City one of the barometers for Child Friendly Cities in West Java.

Currently, the Bandung City Regional Government has held preparatory coordination meetings and is providing technical guidance regarding preparations for becoming a Child Friendly City.

"A Child Friendly City is an activity that must be supported by all regional officials," he said.

There are several efforts from the City of Bandung to support a Child Friendly City, including the title of 2023 Child Friendly Service Provider Institution at the Bandung Kiwari Regional Hospital, 2023 Child Friendly Services at the Community Health Center at the Garuda Community Health Center UPTD, and a Child Friendly Playroom at Tongkeng Park.

"Some of these accelerations didn't exist last year, but now they do," he said.

The results of the 2024 Child Friendly City evaluation will be announced in 2025.
