PORTALJABAR, BOGOR CITY - Direct access to the Bogor Outer Ring Road (BORR) Toll Road via the One Central Business District (OCBD) area was officially opened and can be crossed by vehicles on Wednesday (12/3/2025).

The increase in capacity of the Bogor Highway Intersection – Jalan Sholeh Iskandar – BORR Toll Road at the Kedung Halang On Ramp, known as Zero Kilometer From Toll Road, was realized through cooperation between the Bogor City Government, PT Olympic Bangun Persada, and PT Marga Sarana Jabar.

Bogor Mayor, Dedie A. Rachim, said that opening direct access to the BORR Toll Road is the best solution to increase road capacity.

"Because, as is known, on Jalan KS Tubun Simpang Jalan Kedung Halang there is a gutter through which the irrigation flow of the Cibagolo River passes, so it cannot accumulate or be removed," he explained.

This condition often causes large tonnage vehicles and containers to be transported. Therefore, this new access is one of the alternative steps so that vehicles can pass more smoothly.

With this access, the traffic congestion that often occurs at the Kedung Halang Road Intersection and the BORR Toll Intersection on Jalan Sholeh Iskandar is expected to be resolved.

"In the future, not only on-ramp, but off-ramp must also be considered. If on-ramp and off-ramp can be completed, then the development area will be more felt, and economic growth will be more significant," said Dedie A. Rachim.

At the same location, CEO of PT Olympic Bangun Persada, Norman Edward Sebastian, said that the planning process for this project had begun five years ago. After going through the groundbreaking stage in August
2023, finally this access can be inaugurated in March 2025.

"Hopefully this toll access will provide great benefits for the people of Bogor City and its surroundings. With the operation of this access, it is hoped that traffic will be smoother, connectivity will increase, and the region will develop,"

Vice Chief Executive Officer of PT Olympic Bangun Persada (OBP), Imelda Fransisca, added that the existence of this direct access would not have been possible without collaboration between the private sector with support.

In line with this, the President Director of PT Marga Sarana Jabar, Florysco P. Siahaan, said that direct access to the BORR Toll Road, which is the connectivity between Simpang Raya Bogor, is an initiative of the Bogor City Government.

"So that the community is increasingly facilitated. Thank you to Mr. Dedie and all staff who have supported the construction and operation of the toll road. With this access, the area around the toll road is developing
