PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting Chair of the West Java Province Family Welfare Empowerment Team Amanda Soemedi Bey Machmudin inaugurated the Acting Chair of the Cirebon Regency TP PKK at the Pakuan State Building, Bandung City, Tuesday (21/5/2024).

The inauguration was carried out based on the Decree of the Acting Chair of the West Java Province TP PKK Number: 05/kep/pkk.prov/V/2024 concerning the Dismissal of the Chair of the Cirebon Regency TP PKK and the Appointment of the Acting Chair of the Cirebon Regency TP PKK.

The inauguration of the Acting Chair of the Cirebon Regency TP PKK was also carried out following the inauguration of the Acting Regent of Cirebon Wahyu Mijaya by the Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin, on Friday (17/5/2024), last week.

Wahyu Mijaya was appointed to continue the leadership of the Regent of Cirebon for the 2019-2024 period, Imron Rosyadi, whose term of office has ended.

So Risfa Eka Putri, who is the wife of the Acting Regent of Cirebon Wahyu Mijaya, was appointed to replace the Chair of the Cirebon Regency TP PKK for the 2019-2024 term of office, Nunung Roosmini, who is the wife of Imron Rosyadi.

Apart from carrying out her duties as Acting Chair of the Cirebon Regency PKK TP, Risfa is also trusted and confirmed as Chair of Dekranasda, Chair of Forikan, Mother of Genre, and Mother of Literacy.

Apart from that, Risfa was also confirmed as Mother of PAUD, Mother of FAD, and Head of the School for Women to Achieve Dreams and Aspirations (Sekoper Cinta) Cirebon Regency.

"I congratulate Mrs. Risfa Eka Putri Wahyu Mijaya, who, thank God, has now been officially appointed as Acting Chair of TP PKK, Chair of Dekranasda and other organizational positions to run various programs in Cirebon Regency," said Amanda.

He said that the positions held by the regional head's wife were more numerous than the position of regional head himself.

This indicates that women are multitasking creatures who can play a broad role in society.

"Our position as wives is greater than that of husbands as regional heads. This shows the important role of women in how to educate them starting in the fields of early childhood education, health, family resilience, economic empowerment, strengthening the role of teenagers, and so on," said Amanda.

He hopes that his position as Acting Chair of the TP PKK, and other positions will not only become iconic positions, but must become a mandate that is firmly held for the benefit of the wider community.

"With enthusiasm and collaboration, God willing, we can carry out this role as well as possible," he added.

On that occasion, Amanda also appreciated and expressed her gratitude to the Chair of the TP PKK Cirebon Regency for the 2019-2024 term of office, Nunung Roosmini, for her contribution, hard work and attention in carrying out important programs in the community.

"After this, I hope that wherever Mrs. (Nunung Roosmini) is, she will continue to work and be an inspiration for women," concluded Amanda.
