PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of West Java Province recorded that 126 housing units in Girijaya Village, Nagrak District, Cidahu Village, Cidahu District, Sukabumi Regency, were damaged following rain accompanied by a tornado, which occurred on Thursday ( 09 /11/2023 ) At 17.30 WIB.

126 housing units were damaged, each with 44 slightly damaged (RR) housing units in Girijaya Village, Nagrak District and 82 RR Housing Units in Cidahu Village, Cidahu District.

Based on the release of PUSDALOPS PB West Java BPBD, several efforts were made by the West Java Province BPBD, namely, coordinating with the Sukabumi Regency BPBD and the Cidahu sub-district P2BK coordinating with Porkopincam Koramil, Polsek, Tagana, PP Satpol, Cidahu Sukabumi Regency, as well as a team of volunteers to collect data and giving an appeal to the public to remain alert.

Meanwhile, for victims as a result of this incident, the West Java BPBD is still collecting data by the team in the field. Meanwhile, 3 areas affected by fallen trees have been temporarily evacuated. The number of heads of families and people is still waiting for recapitulation.
