PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Acting West Java Governor Bey Machmudin signed the 2024 West Java Provincial APBD Raperda at the West Java DPRD office, Jalan Diponegoro, Bandung City, Wednesday (15/11/2023).

The 2024 West Java APBD was approved by the DPRD amounting to IDR 36.79 trillion. This approval was conveyed by the DPRD leadership to the forum in a plenary meeting with the agenda of approving the 2024 APBD Draft Regional Regulation to become a Regional Regulation.

In his final opinion, Bey appreciated and thanked the leadership and members of the Council for their thoroughness and thoroughness in discussing the 2024 APBD Draft Regional Regulation.

The thoroughness and thoroughness of the Council members did not reduce the speed. The approval process for the Draft Regional Regulation to become a Regional Regulation can be completed faster than the final deadline, namely November 30 2023.

"Of course I really appreciate and thank the West Java DPRD and this approval was completed 15 days earlier than the final deadline, namely November 30 2023," said Bey.

With the approval of the Raperda, the use of the 2024 APBD can begin to be implemented effectively at the beginning of the year. "So the 2024 APBD will begin to be effectively implemented from the beginning of 2024," he said.

After the 2024 Draft Regional Regulation is approved, the next stage is an evaluation by the Ministry of Home Affairs to ensure that the APBD is prepared in accordance with the RPD, RKPD, KUA-PPAS, as well as statutory provisions.

The 2024 APBD structure includes regional expenditure of IDR 36.79 trillion. Consisting of operational expenditure, capital expenditure, unexpected expenditure and transfer expenditure.

Then the regional income target is IDR 35.92 trillion, sourced from local original income (PAD), transfer income and other legitimate regional income.

Thus, there is a gap between regional expenditure and regional income of IDR 866.55 billion which must be covered through net financing.

Bey said that the 2024 APBD would focus on development in the education, health and infrastructure sectors.

"The biggest use of the budget is for education, health and infrastructure," he said.
