PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Nyari Gawe app is increasingly relied upon by West Java residents for job searches. Since its launch in October 2025, as of April 10, 2026, 374,567 job seekers have registered with the Nyari Gawe app. The number of job applicants through the app has reached 518,213.

I Gusti Agung Kim Fajar Wiyati Oka, Head of the West Java Manpower and Transmigration Agency (Disnakertrans), said the job seekers came from various regions in West Java, such as Karawang Regency, Subang Regency, and Bandung City. Some also came from outside West Java.

The company has followed up on a number of job applications. Specifically, 1,198 applicants are currently being reviewed, 2,016 applicants have been interviewed, and 493 applicants have been hired.

Currently, 71 companies are offering job openings through the Nyari Gawe app. People can choose from a variety of available career fields.

"There are 337 job vacancies available, ranging from chefs and telemarketers to accounting staff and even general practitioners," said Kim Agung on Tuesday (April 14, 2026).

The West Java Provincial Government continues to assist the public to ensure a smooth job application process through the Nyari Gawe app. Public complaints are consistently addressed and resolved, including issues with logging in, data entry, forgotten accounts, OTP issues, and job vacancy complaints. A total of 51 complaints have been resolved.
