PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - General Administration Assistant (Adum) of the Regional Secretariat (Setda) of Garut Regency, Budi Gan Gan, officially released Pelita Intan Muda (PIM) volunteers who will carry out service in Cigadog Village, Cikelet District, Garut Regency. The service entitled "Young Serve Vol. 3" will last for 10 days.

This release was carried out at the same time as the Morning Call at the Regional Secretariat of Garut Regency, Jalan Pembangunan, Tarogong Kidul District, Garut Regency, on Friday (12/7/2024).

Budi Gan Gan said that around 50 volunteers would carry out various volunteer activities, such as planting trees, distributing basic necessities, creating population administration, and so on.

He hopes that this activity will be a solution in easing the burden on the community where the service is taking place.

"Hopefully other volunteers can emulate how they can do community service or real work to provide assistance or provide benefits to the community," said Budi.

Budi also advised volunteers to always maintain their health and carry out their duties according to the targets they have set.

Meanwhile, the Executive of the Pelita Intan Muda Branch Management Agency (BPC) of Garut Regency, Sayyid Burhan Nurdin, explained that this activity was in collaboration with related departments or agencies.

"This activity is routinely held once a year with the aim of giving millions of smiles throughout Garut Regency," said Sayyid.

He added that this activity would be attended by around 50 people, who would be divided into two groups, and would dedicate themselves for 10 days.
