PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - The Regency Association (Askab) of the All Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) of Garut Regency is holding an Ordinary Congress event for 2023, taking place in the Campus I Hall of Garut University (Uniga), Friday (7/6/2024).

This activity was officially opened by the Head of the Garut Regency Youth and Sports Service (Dispora), Ade Hendarsyah.

This regular congress agenda will evaluate programs and activities during 2023 and plan programs and activities for 2024.

Head of Garut Regency Youth and Sports Affairs, Ade Hendarsyah, said that sports can produce something great, which is measured by two things, namely a healthy organization and achievement.

He revealed that an organization must be healthy, its indicators are capable of carrying out and carrying out the organization's mandate, and one of these mandates is implementing what has been determined in the organization's Bylaws (AD/ART).

One of the implementations of this AD ART includes holding an annual working meeting or at PSSI called a regular congress.

"And I see that PSSI Garut Regency is able to carry out this mandate every year, whatever happens this congress can be carried out and must be carried out because this is an important part," he said.

Meanwhile, for achievement, Ade explained, this would be measurable using simple measures, namely winning a championship or event. However, this achievement cannot be achieved instantly, but requires a process that starts with directed, tiered and continuous planning.

"Therefore, we hope that this congress will not only pay off the obligation to fulfill the basic budget of the cadet's bylaws (or) the mandate of AD ART. But let's formulate the important things for achieving its own achievements," he said.

According to Ade, achieving this achievement is very complex and requires extraordinary planning, requiring collaborative work from all parties.

Chairman of the Garut Regency PSSI Askab Amar Komarudin said that in this regular congress his party would report on activities that had been carried out, and would create new activities that were also adapted to the programs of the West Java PSSI Provincial Association (Asprov) and the central PSSI.

The implementation of the Soeratin Cup to the implementation of the village league which is an internal program of the PSSI Askab Garut Regency, are there any examples of evidence of the program in question?

Through this regular congress, continued Amar, the aim is that the 1-year program created can be planned and have clear objectives, and be known by voters who are representatives of SSB who have joined PSSI.

Amar explained that the PSSI Askab's task should be early childhood development, in order to prepare players to become professional players. Coaching from ages 8, 9, even 7 to 23 years old as grassroots.

"Then there was Soeratin u-13, 15, 17, Soeratin, then now Kejurda 14, those are the levels that must be developed, so that when he grows up he becomes a professional player, today football is an industry, so it must be really (developed) )," he said.

The follow-up to this activity, continued Amar, is implementing programs and activities which will later be agreed upon at this ordinary congress.

"Hopefully the regional government can help work together to revive Garut football which had stopped, now we can revive it together to achieve this great common dream," he said.
