PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - Deputy Regent of Bekasi, dr. Asep Surya Atmaja emphasized the importance of the role of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) as the spearhead of public service. He conveyed this while leading the Korpri ceremony at the Bekasi Regency Government Plaza, Thursday (17/4/2025).

In front of ASN and Government Employees through Work Agreements (PPPK), he invited all ranks to strengthen integrity, improve competence and become pioneers in realizing quality services.

"ASN must be an example and a pioneer in providing the best service to the community. The quality of good public service is a reflection of the professional and saving performance of ASN," Asep emphasized in his message.

He said that the Korpri ceremony was not just a routine ceremony, but an important momentum to unite spirits and strengthen joint commitment as public servants.

Furthermore, he said that the public service agenda is no longer just on administrative tasks, but also demands the presence of ASN at the forefront. ASN is expected to be an agent of change that is responsive and adaptive to the needs of the community.

On that occasion, Asep also referred to the meeting of Bekasi Regent Ade Kuswara Kunang with the regents and mayors throughout West Java with West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi. The meeting highlighted the importance of strengthening the role of ASN in creating a government that serves, is transparent, and accountable.

"All ASNs do not just manage administration, but must be present as the vanguard in providing quality public services," said Asep, quoting Governor Dedi's mandate.

In addition to emphasizing the importance of values such as integrity, professionalism, and dedication, Asep also encouraged ASN to continue to improve their capacity and technical and non-technical competencies in order to be able to answer the increasingly complex challenges of public service.

"I hope that all ASN in the Bekasi Regency Government can improve the quality of public services. Let us together build a Bekasi Regency that is advanced, rising, and prosperous by providing excellent services to the community," he concluded.

The solemn Korpri ceremony became an important momentum to strengthen the collective spirit and moral responsibility of ASN in the Bekasi Regency Government. Through collaboration and the spirit of change, the Bekasi Regency Government is expected to be able to realize a more responsive governance and oriented towards excellent public service.
