PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Civil servants (ASN) and several communities collaborated in the Clean Up Bandung Movement in the Bandung Square and Ujungberung Square areas. The activity was also carried out in all 30 districts throughout Bandung City on Wednesday (10/15/2025).
One of the participating communities was the Bandung Motorcycle Club Forum (FCMB) and the Bandung City MPH. These communities participated by cleaning up the area around Banceuy Prison.
"This collaboration is a concrete manifestation of our shared concern for maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of Bandung City, making it more comfortable," said Sony Teguh Prasatya, Advisory Board Member of the MPH Community Indonesia.
This activity was also enthusiastically welcomed by Bandung City Government ASN, one of whom was Lingga P. Gahara.
"We want to ensure Bandung is not only free of trash, but also free of environmentally damaging behavior. Cleanliness is everyone's responsibility, not just the government's," said Lingga.
Meanwhile, Deputy Mayor of Bandung Erwin said that the Clean Bandung 2025 movement strengthens collective awareness that city cleanliness is not only the government's business, but the business of all citizens.
"Collaboration is key. When the government, communities, businesses, and citizens work together, no problem is too big to solve," he said at Bandung City Square.
The city of Bandung is preparing to host the 2025 Asia Africa Festival, an international event that will once again put Bandung in the eyes of the world.
"We want to show that the spirit of the 'Spirit of Bandung' of 1955, the spirit of solidarity, peace, and brotherhood among nations, remains alive in our actions today," he said.
