PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Regional Secretary of West Java Province Herman Suryatman stated that during the month of Ramadan ASN working hours will change to earlier.
This change in working hours is to continue to provide maximum service to the public and maintain the performance of ASN in the West Java Provincial Government environment to remain effective and productive.
Based on Circular Letter Number: 23/OT.03/ORG concerning the Determination of Working Hours during the Month of Ramadhan 1446 H/2025 M in the West Java Provincial Government Environment, signed by the West Java Regional Secretary, the working hours for regional apparatus are set at five working days, with the arrangement on Monday to Thursday, working hours starting at 06.30 - 14.00 WIB, with a break time of 11.30-12.30 WIB.
Meanwhile, on Friday, working hours start at 06.30 - 14.30 WIB, with a break from 11.30-13.00 WIB.
The determination of working hours is in line with the Letter of the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Number: B/34/KT.02/2025 concerning Considerations on the Application for Permit to Change Working Hours during the Month of Ramadan in West Java Province and in order to increase the effectiveness and productivity of employee work during the month of Ramadan.
The number of effective working hours during the month of Ramadhan 1446 H is set at a minimum of 32 hours 30 minutes in one week, excluding rest hours.
For regional apparatus and/or work units in regional apparatus that provide direct services to the community, hospitals in regional apparatus that carry out government affairs in the health sector and educational units in regional apparatus that carry out government affairs in the education sector, the regulation is that working days and working hours for the month of Ramadhan are at least 32 hours and 30 minutes in 1 week excluding rest hours.
"The arrangement of rest time for employees is carried out by prioritizing excellent service to the community," said Herman Suryatman.
