PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - West Java Regional Secretary Herman Suryatman ensured that all West Java Provincial Government civil servants (ASN) had properly implemented the post-Eid work from office (WFO) and work from home (WFH) provisions.
Herman directly monitored the attendance of ASNs for 2 days after the 2024 Eid holiday, both ASNs in the public service sector and in government administration.
"We have implemented this (Circular Letter) within the West Java Provincial Government and it is going well, you can check it on the presence of the digital platform that we have," said Herman Suryatman at Gedung Sate, Wednesday (17/4/2024).
In accordance with the Circular Letter of the Minister of PAN and RB Number 1 of 2024 which was addressed to Personnel Development Officers in all government agencies, WFO combined with WFH applies to ASN.
The government invites ASN to postpone their return from their hometowns to reduce traffic jams when traffic flows back. This rule applies April 16-17. After two days of being allowed to WFH, work entry regulations return to normal.
Herman revealed that since the Ministerial Circular was published, the Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin immediately instructed the bureaucracy to implement it properly.
In the letter, ASN employees for public services must be 100 percent present. For things related to government administration, including leadership services, a maximum of 50 percent attendance is possible.
"We will leave the technical arrangements to the heads of OPD (regional officials), which one is WFO and which one is WFH," he said.
After checking the rooms at Gedung Sate, Herman saw that 50 percent of the employees were present in person and 50 percent were doing WFH.
Meanwhile, for community services such as the Herman Transportation Department, it is ensured that 100 percent of employees have entered the office.
"I just checked the rooms in Gedung Sate half-heartedly because Gedung Sate is a supporting system so 50 percent is possible. But for community services such as the Transportation Service, it's already 100 percent," he explained.
Likewise for district and city regional governments, Herman has informed the regional secretaries. Tomorrow, Thursday (18/4/2024), the Circular will no longer be valid. This means that all ASN must be working as usual.
"Tomorrow they must attend as per the 100 percent full provisions for both government administration and public services because the SE is valid for two days," concluded Herman.
