PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Deputy Governor of West Java, Erwan Setiawan, emphasized his commitment to work together with the Governor of West Java, Dedi Mulyadi, in providing welfare for all people of West Java through the "Jabar Istimewa" program.

This was conveyed by Deputy Governor Erwan when giving a speech at a gathering and joint prayer event at the Official Residence of the Deputy Governor of West Java, Rancabentang, Bandung City, Friday (21/2/2025).

This event is a special moment for Erwan to start his term of office by asking for blessings and smoothness in carrying out his mandate as a leader.

"God willing, I and Kang Dedi will prioritize the people of West Java by providing sincere service and providing benefits, in accordance with our tagline , namely West Java Istimewa," said Erwan.

Erwan emphasized that public welfare is the main priority in every policy taken. He is committed to prioritizing services without discrimination in order to achieve equal welfare for all West Java residents.

"The task of a leader is to ensure the welfare of the community. The most important thing is to be able to provide welfare for the community without discrimination," he said.

For that reason, Erwan hopes that the implementation of this joint prayer can accompany every policy step he takes in the future. He also expressed the importance of starting all activities with prayer.

"I want to start this mandate with a prayer. Whatever we do must start with a prayer, by saying 'Bismillah' before working to carry out the mandate," he said.

On that occasion, Erwan also asked for prayers and blessings from his parents and the entire West Java community to be given success and smoothness in carrying out his duties as a trustworthy and responsible Deputy Governor.
