PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Culture and Tourism Service (Disbudpar) collaborates with the Bandung City Water Resources and Highways Service (DSDABM), holding the Bandung Arts Festival at the Babakan Siliwangi Bandung Arts Studio, Friday-Sunday (19-21/7 /2024).

Apart from Indonesia, Bandung Arts Festival participants come from Australia, France, Germany, Laos, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India and America.

Meanwhile, from within the country, participants from the districts of Bandung, Jakarta, Cirebon, Indramayu, Malang, Banjarmasin, Tuban, Salatiga, Aceh, Pekanbaru, Surabaya, Magelang and Surakarta also enlivened this event.

At the Bandung Arts Festival, various music, dance, theater, art exhibitions and discussion forums were held.

Acting Mayor of Bandung Bambang Tirtoyuliono took the time to review the implementation of this activity, Saturday (20/7/2024).

"Let's enliven tourism activities in the city of Bandung. This has a big influence on various sectors, such as the economy and other sectors," said Bambang.

Bambang said that the various potentials that exist in Babakan Siliwangi must continue to be protected and maintained.

"The aim is to increase the happiness index for the people of Bandung City," he said.

Bambang also took the time to paint abstractly and take photos with the guest stars who were present.

One of the visitors, Raden Dinar, appreciated the event. The reason is that he learned many interesting things from visiting the Bandung Art Festival 2024.

"It's really cool, I just saw this Butoh workshop from Hong Kong. It's like a body exercise with unique movements," he said.
