PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Bandung City Government is presenting the Bandung Great Sale 2026 with discounts of up to 80 percent for the public.

Bandung Great Sale (BGS) 2026 took place at Laswi Heritage on August 21-23, 2026, involving at least 741 business actors.

Head of the Bandung City Trade and Industry Agency (Disdagin), Ronny Ahmad Nurudin, said this year's BGS was more diverse.

The implementation does not only take place in shopping centers, but also involves business actors, communities, and the hotel-restaurant-cafe sector.

Laswi Heritage is the main location, involving 167 business actors from the fashion, culinary, and community sectors.

"We want to show that Bandung is a heritage city. The location is very representative, and this is the result of our survey in selecting the location for the venue," said Ronny.

A total of 574 other business actors spread across a number of shopping centers and the hotel-restaurant-cafe sector participated in BGS 2026.

Visitors can also enjoy community activities, automotive, hobbies, culinary, and various creative activities during the event.

"We hope this will be an attraction for all groups, and people can bring their families," he said.

The flash sale or crazy sale program runs from 19.00 WIB for 21 minutes and 6 seconds with a maximum discount of 80 percent.

"The name itself is Bandung Great Sale, so of course we're inviting all businesses at Laswi Heritage to have promotions, discounts, or sales. And at certain times, there will be flash sales or crazy sales," said Ronny.

Various automotive, hobby, fashion and creative communities also participated in the activities to expand the choice of activities for visitors.

Access to the location is also made easier through the Bandung Tour on Bus (Bandros) bus service with a 50 percent discount on fares.

A total of 12 Bandros units are scheduled to pass and stop around Laswi Heritage during the Bandung Great Sale.

PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) is also offering a 10 percent discount on travel to Bandung City.

The Bandung City Government also provides public services in the form of permits, population administration, employment, taxes, Samsat, and health.

Ronny said the 2026 Bandung Shopping Month series had been running since the Bandung Creative Market on June 8, 2026 to August 9, 2026.

The agenda continued with the Indonesia Shopping Festival, Indonesia Discount Shopping Day, Industrial Center Festival, and the All About Tofu and Bandung City Snacks Festival.

"God willing, we are currently preparing for the Bandung Great Sale as the culmination or closing event of Bandung Shopping Month," he said.

According to Ronny, this series helps increase the competitiveness of business actors while also driving the economy and tourist visits.

"This activity is aimed at increasing the competitiveness of Bandung City's business actors, improving the economy of Bandung City, and increasing tourism and shopping in Bandung City," he concluded.
