The Bogor Regency command center or control center will later become the center for data visualization and integration for Bogor Regency which is equipped with various infrastructure for monitoring, coordination and decision making activities. Its existence can realize the smart city concept, which is a concept of how to manage a city, in smart ways. As an effort to improve public services, and will have an impact on the level of economic growth.
The function of the command center is as a control center, facilitating coordination with regional apparatus. The existence of a command center can provide benefits for the Bogor Regional Government in making policies that are fast and right on target, and the benefits can also be felt by the community.
"Thank God, we can learn a lot from Makassar City. "Why Makassar City, because this city has had a command center since 2016. Certainly the experience that Makassar City has, especially in managing the command center, can be studied to be applied in Bogor Regency," explained Bayu.
God willing, this year we are building a command center, therefore we need to learn a lot from those who are more experienced. Furthermore, with regard to applications, then also including the data center they have, there is a lot to learn for Bogor Regency so that it can progress like Diskominfo in Makassar City.
Head of Makassar City Diskominfo, Ismawaty Nur, said that almost all data from regional devices has been collected and managed in an integrated manner in the command center.
Regarding data management, currently Indonesia is building one Indonesian data center, as well as in Makassar City, so slowly we are starting to be able to pull data from regional devices and process it simply.
"Of course this is done with the commitment of our leadership, that big data must be managed one door at Diskominfo. Everything is integrated in Diskominfo, including the procurement of software which is no longer permitted by other regional apparatus. "If it has already happened, it must be pulled into our data center," said Ismawaty.
