
PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - In an effort to improve leadership capacity and explore self-potential, Bekasi Regent, Ade Kuswara Kunang participated in a retreat program in Magelang.
The activity aims to deepen understanding of effective leadership, self-reflection, and strengthening the vision in bringing Bekasi Regency to Rise, Advance and Prosper.
The retreat was attended by a number of regional heads from all over Indonesia who were simultaneously inaugurated by Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto.
"Alhamdulillah, I have joined and am ready to take part in the retreat held by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Hopefully, what is obtained in this activity can be useful for myself in general for the region and the people of Bekasi Regency," said Ade Kuswara Kunang, Monday (24/2/2025).
Ade explained that during the activity, participants received various materials on leadership strategies, to effective communication techniques in running the government.
Regent Ade Kuswara Kunang emphasized that leadership is not only about making decisions, but also how a leader is able to understand the needs of the community and provide appropriate solutions.
"I hope that through this retreat, I can better understand how to be a better leader for the people of Bekasi. This is part of my commitment to continue learning and developing for the welfare of the community," said Ade Kuswara Kunang.
In addition, this retreat also held a discussion session and shared experiences between regional leaders, which provided new insights in overcoming various challenges in governance. With this activity, it is hoped that new innovations will emerge in policies and development programs in Bekasi Regency.
