Regional Head of PT Pegadaian Regional Office 10 Bandung, Maryono, said that the third mass circumcision activity this time was in the context of the CRS program as well as the Pegadaian anniversary series and to meet the school holidays.

"The participants who were circumcised were 123 children from various regions in West Java. This mass circumcision was not only centered in Bandung, but also in several other Pegadaian offices. "It will also be implemented in 12 Pegadaian regional offices throughout Indonesia," said Maryono, Tuesday (2/7/2024).

"Every child who takes part in this mass circumcision receives a set of school supplies, a sarong and also financial compensation," he added.

According to Maryono, in carrying out this third mass circumcision, Pegadaian collaborated with Pegadaian medical clinic medical personnel involving 25 medical personnel, including 10 doctors.

"The entire cost of this activity is borne by Pegadaian, with a total budget of around IDR 300 million. "The funds are allocated from the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds," he said.

Maryono stated that holding this social service shows Pegadaian's commitment to continuing to hold social activities that have a direct impact on society.

"We hope that this activity can continue to be carried out every year to help children in need," he said.

Meanwhile, one of Daniel Muttaqien's child's parents admitted that this mass circumcision activity had greatly helped him. Moreover, all costs are borne by Pegadaian. Her child also received a school supplies package.
