PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The distribution of Government Food Reserves (CPP) for Food Aid for the July-September 2026 period continues in Bandung City.

For recipient communities, the 30 kilograms of rice provided at once for three months' needs is one form of support in meeting daily food needs.

One of the aid recipients, Heni, a resident of RT 03/RW 06, Sukapura Subdistrict, expressed gratitude for the assistance. She received 30 kilograms of rice for the July, August, and September 2026 allocation.

"Thank God, I received assistance to help with my daily needs," said Heni, Saturday (29/8/2026).

Heni hopes that the quality of the rice distributed to the community will be maintained. According to her, rice quality is one of the most important factors to consider when distributing food aid.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Food Availability Division of the Bandung City Food Security and Agriculture Agency (DKPP), Eva Rita Firtya Nur, explained that food assistance for the July-September 2026 period was provided in the form of 10 kilograms of medium-quality rice per month.

Because the distribution was carried out simultaneously, each Food Aid Recipient (PBP) received 30 kilograms of rice. In Sukapura Village, there were 1,646 PBPs, with a total of 49,380 kilograms, or 49.38 tons, of rice distributed.

Eva stated that the DKPP also monitors the quality and quantity of rice before distribution to the public. Inspections are conducted at the storage warehouse, followed by monitoring the distribution process at each distribution point.

"This food aid comes from the National Food Agency's Food Reserves, consisting of medium-quality rice. Each PBP receives an allocation of 10 kilograms per month," he explained.

Overall, food aid for the July-September 2026 period targeted approximately 143,000 PBPs spread across 30 sub-districts and 151 urban villages in Bandung City.

With an allocation of 30 kilograms per PBP, the total rice prepared reaches approximately 4.29 million kilograms or 4,290 tons.

Distribution began on August 27, 2026. As of August 28, 5,014 PBPs had received assistance, with a total of 150.42 tons of rice distributed. The distribution was spread across four sub-districts and 11 urban villages.

Eva added that subsequent distributions will continue to roll out to various areas of Bandung City. One of the planned distribution points is the Cidadap District, which includes the Ciumbuleuit, Hegarmanah, and Ledeng sub-districts.

Based on the temporary plan, the three sub-districts are scheduled to receive distribution on September 5, 2026. However, the distribution schedule and time are still subject to change depending on the readiness of each region.

Aid recipients are advised to follow the latest information from the Bandung City DKPP regarding the distribution schedule and location.
