PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - Bandung City Regional Secretary (Sekda) Ema Sumarna appreciated the presence of Bandung City Hall (PBB) Reporters. According to him, the role of the media is very important in the development of strategic issues in the city of Bandung.

According to him, the role of the media is really needed to disseminate information in the city of Bandung. This includes Bandung City Government programs.

"The Bandung City Government has limitations in exploring anything, including information. Without media support, we are not optimal," said Ema at the inauguration of the Bandung City Hall Reporter (PBB) board for the 2024-2027 period, Friday (19/1/2024).

Ema also hopes that the collaboration between the Bandung City Government and PBB can continue and provide optimal support capacity.

Ema hopes that a number of strategic issues will be socialized, including those concerning development, government administration and community development.

"We believe that with solidarity, we can correct yesterday's shortcomings," he said.

Chairman of the 2024-2027 Bandung City Hall Reporter Management, Putra Prima Perdana, hopes that the collaboration between the Bandung City Government and the PBB can bridge the community's aspirations so that they reach the government quickly.

He is optimistic that the PBB will provide more benefits in efforts to disseminate information in the city of Bandung.

"We hope that PBB can become a bridge for community aspirations so that they can quickly reach policy makers in the city of Bandung," he said.

On the same occasion, Chairman of the PBB Advisory Council, Tommy Riyadi, also hoped that the collaboration between the Bandung City Government and the PBB would make it easier for the public to obtain information, especially regarding programs and strategic issues for the City of Bandung.

"We hope that in the future this collaboration will be better. Friends here have the task of making journalistic products, namely news," he said.

Meanwhile, on this occasion, Putra Prima Perdana was confirmed as Chairman of the PBB Board for the 2024-2027 period, replacing Yogi Pasha. (Diskominfo Bandung City/UPI)
