PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - The Acting Regent of Garut, Barnas Adjidin, led a clean-up activity around Garut Square, on Thursday (15/2/2024).

The roll call involved cleaning officers from the Garut Regency Environmental Service (DLH) as well as several Garut District Government employees.

Barnas reminded the rally participants about the importance of health in their activities. He said that individual health can benefit other people.

Apart from conveying health messages, Barnas also advised preparations for the 211th Anniversary of Garut Regency which will be commemorated on Friday (16/2/2024). He invited all parties to actively participate in beautifying Garut City through cleanliness movements.

"There need to be movements that will be able to contribute to our eyes, to society, that Garut can be realized, namely through the cleanliness movement," he added.

Barnas also said that cleanliness is part of faith, and this movement must be carried out jointly by all elements of society, not just relying on cleaning staff alone.

"When carrying out your duties you must be sincere, because with sincerity you can get tired, and with tiredness you can be happy. "Then finally, let's work together to establish unity in all matters so that together we can become great," he said.

Barnas also provided basic food packages to 44 cleaning officers from the Environmental Service (DLH), Garut Fire Department (Disdamkar), Garut Satpol PP, Garut Transportation Service (Dishub). (rdp*)
