PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. GARUT - Acting. The Regent of Garut, Barnas Adjidin, checked machines at Public Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) and Bulk LPG Filling Stations (SPBE) to ensure the availability of subsidized oil and gas fuel in Garut Regency.
The gas station check was carried out at one of the stations in Cikajang District, while the SPBE check took place in Cisurupan District, Garut Regency (18/7/2024).
Barnas said that apart from ensuring the availability of fuel, he also wanted to ensure that the gasoline available at the gas station was suitable for use by the public.
Gas station machine checks are carried out every year to prevent things that are detrimental to the public or consumers.
"We must not ensure that there is a shortage of gasoline, because this shortage will have a high economic impact. "Thank God, everything was as expected," said Barnas.
Barnas also confirmed the importance of ensuring there is no reduction in LPG gas content after leaving the SPBE. He also emphasized the importance of protective labels to prevent duplication of LPG gas in the community.
“The output must be according to the scale it should be, and the distribution must be even. "Don't let there be sub-districts that are not filled with agents," he said.
He hopes that the distribution of LPG in Garut Regency can run smoothly starting from supply, supply, to availability of LPG gas.
Garut Police Chief, Mochammad Fajar Gemilang, revealed that his party had supported the regional government's efforts to increase the availability of basic commodities, fuel and gas subsidies. It will reduce the intervals that may occur in the field.
"We anticipate deviations in both availability and distribution so that it is appropriate for distribution to people who need it. Because this is a subsidy, we are helping local governments guarantee this," he concluded. (Diskominfo Garut/Fauziah)
