PORTALJABAR, BEKASI REGENCY - Acting Regent of Bekasi Asep Surya Atmaja attended the distribution of aid fii sabilillah to 1,000 Koran teachers, imams, marbot, and Islamic organizations in Bekasi Regency 03/17/2026 to support community religious activities.

The activity took place in the Hall of the National Alms Agency (BAZNAS) of Bekasi Regency, Bekasi Regency Government Complex, Sukamahi, Central Cikarang.

The Bekasi Taqwa Program distributes aid to 1,000 recipients who play a direct role in religious education and community worship services.

Asep Surya Atmaja stated that this assistance helps with operational needs for preaching while maintaining the sustainability of religious activities in the community.

"Through this program, we are not only providing material assistance, but also strengthening the spirit of togetherness, social awareness, and mutual cooperation among fellow believers," he said.

The momentum of Ramadan encourages people to share, so that the benefits of aid can be felt more widely by those in need.

Asep invited State Civil Apparatus, business actors, and the public to distribute zakat, infaq, and alms through BAZNAS so that distribution is more targeted.

"The more people who fulfill their zakat obligations and share their blessings, the more benefits will be felt by those in need," he said.

The Head of the Bekasi Regency BAZNAS, Aminnulloh, said that this program is routinely held every year to maintain the role of Koran teachers and religious figures in guiding the community.

"In 2026, we distributed aid to around 1,000 fisabilillah (Islamic leaders), consisting of Quran teachers, religious teachers, and representatives from Islamic community organizations in Bekasi Regency," he said.

This assistance is expected to help recipients sustain their da'wah and worship services in their respective communities. (Bekasi Regency Communications and Information Service/bhf)
