PORTALJABAR, BOGOR REGENCY - In order to eradicate the circulation and dangers of drug abuse, Gunung Putri District launched a shining bonded area in the Graha Mandiri building, Gunung Putri Village, Gunung Putri District, Monday (13/1/2025).

Acting Head of Bakesbangpol Heri Risnandar, representing the Acting Regent of Bogor, said that in the era of technology that facilitates communication, it is not always used for the benefit of the wider community, but also negative things such as drug abuse. Therefore, things are needed to mitigate things that can harm the community.

"For that reason, we invite all parties, starting from the government, private sector, academics, society, and media to work together to improve the welfare of society with more massive activation and strengthening coordination between institutions to jointly eradicate drug trafficking," he said.

According to him, the Shining Bonded Zone in Gunung Putri Village can be a pioneer so that in the future this area will be implemented in various other villages and sub-districts in the Bogor Regency area.

"Considering the large number of private companies located in Bogor Regency, I hope that the role of the private sector in various infrastructures will combine resources and regions around the world through positive research directions for the journey of the Shining Bonded Zone," he said.

Then, the Head of Gunung Putri Sub-district, Kurnia Indra, said that the launch of the Shining Bonded Zone was a development of the Shining Village in the Gunung Putri Sub-district, especially in Gunung Putri Village starting from the Shining Islamic Boarding School, Shining School, to the Shining RT and RW.

"The development of this Shining Village into a Shining Bonded Zone, means that we are targeting, more or less in Gunung Putri Village there are 61 companies that are also shining, the hope is that in the future there will be task forces in the companies. This is our effort to jointly prevent, eradicate, and overcome the problem of drug abuse, this is an effort and hopefully with these efforts we can succeed in saving the younger generation in the future," said the Gunung Putri Sub-district Head.

In the same place, Deputy for Prevention of the BNN RI, Inspector General of Police Zainul Muttaqin said, nationally, 73 percent of the Indonesian population has been exposed to drugs and the majority are productive age people with a range of 15-49 years. Of course, with the launch of the Shining Bonded Zone, a task force will be formed which will begin with a urine test check with a random or impromptu system.

"This is an effort to save our nation's generation from the dangers of drug trafficking, we must save their future. We greatly appreciate the launch of this Shining Bonded Zone which is expected to be more optimal in eradicating drugs in Bogor Regency to realize Shining Bogor," he said.
