PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The West Java Provincial Government (Pemprov) has won first place in the Java-Bali Regional Outstanding Regional Government Appreciation (Batch II) for the Implementation of the 3 Million Homes Program. The award from the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) was received by Deputy Governor of West Java Erwan Setiawan at the Nusa Dua Convention Center, Bali, Friday (28/8/2026).
This category assesses the commitment and performance of local governments in supporting the implementation of the 3 Million Homes Program. Assessments include local government policy support, accelerated housing provision, and sustainable settlement management.
For this achievement, the Ministry of Home Affairs provided 300 units of self-help stimulus assistance for house renovations for West Java.
"The repair value for each house is IDR 20 million," said Home Minister Tito Karnavian.
This assistance is in addition to regular home renovation assistance of an average of 300 units per district/city.
Meanwhile, Deputy Governor Erwan stated that the West Java Provincial Government is committed to overseeing the 3 Million Homes Program to ensure it truly benefits the community.
This national strategic program must be able to bring prosperity to the community by providing decent housing.
"Therefore, we are ensuring that the beneficiary data collection, development implementation, and supervision processes are carried out in an accountable manner," said Erwan.
According to Erwan, all parties involved in the implementation of the 3 Million Homes Program must demonstrate integrity. Each stage must be carried out professionally, transparently, and in a community-centered manner.
