PORTALJABAR, BANDUNG CITY - The Indonesian national team will play in the semifinal match of the U-23 Asian Cup against Uzbekistan at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium, Doha, Qatar, Monday (29/4/2024), at 21.00 WIB.

Even though they are not present directly in Qatar, people in Indonesia can provide direct support through the small screen or big screen "watch together (nobar)".

It is planned that the parade will also be held at Saparua Field, Bandung City, Monday evening, starting at 20.30 WIB. Acting West Java Governor Bey Machmudin is scheduled to watch.

"Let's give support to the U-23 national team. We will perform at the Saparua Field in Bandung City, please join," said Bey.

The Indonesian national team under coach Shin Tae-yong succeeded in making big history by successfully qualifying for the semifinals of the U-23 Asian Cup for the first time in national football history.

Indonesia is the only semifinalist team in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup that has never won this event.

Meanwhile, the other semifinalists have already tasted victory in this tournament. Iraq won in 2013, Japan won in 2016 and Uzbekistan won in 2018.

If Indonesia is able to conquer Uzbekistan, then Indonesia will become an Asian football team
first to win a ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

If they can win, Indonesia will also have the opportunity to win the Asian title for the first time since the 1961 U-20 Asian Cup.

In historical records, Indonesia's best achievement in world football was appearing at the 1956 Melbourne Olympics.

As a dark horse team, the Indonesian national team tonight will play carefree because PSSI General Chair Erick Thohir's target of qualifying for the top eight has been achieved. Likewise, Shin Tae-yong's target is to be able to pass the semifinals.
