PORTALJABAR, DISTRICT. BOGOR - Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin accompanied the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Hadi Tjahjanto to give permanent occupancy certificates (huntap) to residents living in Sukaraksa Village, Cigudeg District, Bogor Regency, Friday (19/1/2024) .
The huntap certificate was given to residents affected by landslides and flash floods in early 2020 in Cigudeg and Jasinga Villages, Bogor Regency. Residents' homes in several villages were lost due to landslides and flash floods.
Bey Machmudin said that the shelter provided by the government to affected residents was a joint work between stakeholders and proved that the state's presence was real.
"This is a collaboration between the Ministry of ATR/BPN, BNPB, Ministry of PUPR, and the Regional Government of Bogor Regency which is very helpful, as well as the Ombudsman. In the future, it may be our consideration not to build houses in disaster-prone areas," said Bey Machmudin.
However, Bey said, the provision of certificates to residents was carried out in stages and would be completed to the 2,347 heads of families who received permanent housing.
"The distribution will be given in stages (51 certificates first) today, then they will also hand over (the rest) which is their right," he said.
Meanwhile, ATR Minister/Head of BPN Hadi Tjahjanto revealed that 51 huntap certificates had been given to residents who live in Sukaraksa Village, Cigudeg District, Bogor Regency.
"We have just handed over 51 certificates of Building Use Rights to the people affected by the 2020 natural disaster (landslides) and these certificates are the result of cooperation between PTPN VIII which released approximately 52.8 hectares of land and it has the status of management rights for Bogor Regency," said Hadi Tjahjanto.
Hadi explained that the target for housing construction was 2,347 houses.
"The construction plan at that time was for 2,347 houses and around 1,400 had been completed, the remaining 970 houses would soon be completed. Today there are 51 representatives to receive the certificate (heads of families)," he added.
Hadi also advised residents who have received the certificate to store it in a safe place so that one day if they want to become entrepreneurs, they can use it for a productive business for the economy.
"We hope that the certificate will be kept well and of course I convey to the community that it can also improve the economy if there is an MSME business. However, I must also remind you that this business is productive, which can improve the community's economy," concluded Hadi.
